- What color was the cyanotype emulsion when it was applied to the paper?
2.What happened when it was placed outside in the sunlight? Why?
The sun imprinted or began to turn the emulsion gray. Because the sun was a huge reactant.
3.When your print was removed from the glass and the objects were removed, what did you observe?
The silhouette of the object that was laid on top of it.
4.Describe what happened to the exposed areas of the print and the unexposed areas of the print when it was placed in water. Why do you think this happened?
The unexposed areas kept the imprint, but the exposed areas turned dark blue because the oxygen was affecting it.
5.What happened when the Hydrogen Peroxide was added to the water bath?
It gave the picture a darker hue look and it kinda bubbled/ fizzed.
6.Any final thoughts about the way it looks, feels or your observations of the process?
I saw how nice a picture of a feather looked and I thought my flower was going to come out like that, with a lot of detail.
