Only 4 35mm cameras were built at the time . They were all built by Jens Poul Andersen in Nellerod, Denmark.
The importance of this invention was that it took 800 half-frame or 400 full-frame shots on 50 feet (15.2m) rolls.
One interesting fact would be that there were different designs that were made and some would be cheaper meanwhile others would be expensive because of the material that was used to make them.
This would be a modern day 35mm camera displayed on the left.
This camera shown on the left is a cyclocamera, this was the only 35mm camera that became known worldwide. <---------------
Still cameras had to use perforated movie film in order to get their pictures done. Until the Leica was introduced it all changed then.---------------->
