An Arabian scholar named Alhazen, invented/came up with the camera obscura. By enclosing himself in a box-like room, he only allowed some sunlight to come in with the help of a small hole that was placed right in the center of the opposite wall, where he wanted the image to be projected.
17th Century
The German Astronomer, Johannes Kepler, recommended that camera obscura be the name of this "dark room".
1490
Da Vinci studied perspective with the help of the camera obscura which allowed him ton get easier access of architecture or what he was interested in.
19th Century
The camera obscura began to cast longer, sharper , and inexplicably better images.
Today
Now the old- time camera obscuras are being cherished and kept in their own museums to show the evolution of their change and transformation from a "dark room" to a full- fledged camera.
